With more and more people, most of them are women, becoming more conscious about their body size and weight nowadays, it is not surprising why campaigns, advertisements, product promotions, and famous product tests like the Herbalife Weight Loss Challenge, healthy cooking tips, and wonder slimming creams are seen and heard as often and as regular as the minutes in the clockwork.

Most women even spend a hefty amount of money over medical procedures and operations just to get rid of the unwanted fat deposits and flab in their bodies. Even those who are against cosmetic surgeries and clinical cosmetic procedures yet still want to lose weight spend a considerable chunk from their savings to purchase exercise equipment, register at a gym, purchase home fitness instructional videos and buy consumable products such as slimming tea, non-fat foods, anti-cellulite lotions and creams, and products that promote losing appetite. Good as it is that people are now starting to care about their health and body conditions than they used to, there are still some who take this matter to another level resulting to cases of malnutrition and eating disorders, to much concern of the many health experts.

Being healthy and being thin are two different matters. Thus, being thin should not be perceived as being healthy. Putting this fact into consideration, one must know how to set limitations in using health and beauty products. After all, too much is never good.

The surgical procedure of reshaping the body by removing fat deposits is called liposuction. Liposuction, usually called lipo, is a surgery performed by many surgeons in cosmetic clinics and aesthetic medical facilities like the Vaser Lipo clinic, with the use of vacuum suction canula, a pen shaped suction instrument. This procedure is commonly sought after by many people who want to remove unflattering body fats and flab in their abdomen, thighs, upper arms, buttocks, neck and even in the face.

Although many concerns and issues of alleged side effects and negative effects on someone who has recently underwent this surgery, liposuction is still one of the most popular cosmetic procedures in the market today. In most cases, only one session is needed to achieve the desired effect. Yet, there are some cases that require more than one session before the intended result is obtained. The number of sessions required may vary depending on the complexity of the procedure and the intensity in the amount of fat deposits that should be removed.

There are also cases when the surgeon may suggest multiple sessions of fat removal over one extensive surgery because it may be safer for the patient since there are factors like health conditions, career, and post operative support to consider.
